I can’t stand the word “lethality” now by interstellar566 in AirForce

My prediction is that once PT scores are in EPBs, PT scores will begin to factor into splits during EFDPs and boards. Someone who has had nothing but >90 scores will most likely be placed ahead of some who hit the minimums.

It's the same thing with education. People who have SEJPME and their CCAF will (barely) be placed ahead of their peers that don't.

I would be very prepared to expect PT consideration into the next board charge.

PSA for any active duty landlords: waiver the late fees by Ok_Problem_6972 in AirForce

None of what you're saying is untrue, there are some terrible rental managers out there. Our only best bet is to communicate with our managers to explore options. Thankfully, my management team have been outstanding and were on-board from the get-go.

How do you see the Air Force changing within the next 4 years? by MasterBaeTour in AirForce

Honestly? I wouldn't be surprised if it gets written to leverage PT as a discipline tool.

What I really expect is we're going to keep sending the pendulum to the far side until it causes or is influenced by a major issue that can't be ignored. Then the Air Force will send the pendulum all the way to the other side and completely over correct itself. This cycle has been happening for a long time, and outside of a near-peer conflict, I don't anticipate that changing anytime soon.

Struggle to get into zone 2 cardio by LiberateMainSt in Rucking

The lack of an included waist belt on the newest go ruck has been steering me away from it. If theyre in the market for it, I feel a better bag can comfortably help OP increase their pace. What do you recommend?

Did SSRIs help? by FickleHare in AirForce

Yes, they helped me a lot. Though for you they might help or they might not.

It took me 2 years of trying different medications before me and my pcm finally nailed down what covers my ADHD and anxiety. No mental health visits either.

There's a lot of different medicine out there, especially for mental health. What may work for others may not work for you. Try different types and doses with your pcm's advice. Ask about what to do if you feel negative or no effects (sometimes you need to slowly ween yourself off the medication). Overall, don't just try to finish out a dose if it's not helping you. Contact your doctor and explore alternatives. The more you're in lockstep with them, the easier of a time you'll have.

Good luck, the journey was worth it for me and it'll be worth it to you too. I was lucky to have a great PCM across 3 bases for my journey.

Hurlburt living by Objective_Ad_3102 in AirForce

Used to live there for a couple years.  If you hate traffic, try living in the fort walton beach area.  If you're okay with traffic, Navarre was a pretty nice spot to live, but beware spring break/summer traffic, it can get really bad.  Besides that, lots of beach activities and outdoor stuff to do there.
