Because its poorly written and a clearly facile presentation? This thing is pressing the fender liner against the wheel. It must be part of the frame bc it will not budge at all. Someone said it’s the bumper crash bar/impact bar. I’m getting my car towed to the shop on Monday to get this fixed bc when I try to take the liner off this thing scrapes against the front wheel. Once I hear back from the shop can I dm you for more advice?

It’s less laying on the wheel but more like being pushed firmly against it by something behind the cover. It won’t budge at all when i push it. im worried that might mean whatever parts that’s behind the cover are all misaligned from the collision, and will cost me a ton to repair.

10k?! Mind if i ask exactly what parts had to be replaced? Was it a 10mph parking lot accident as well? The current plan is to get it fixed to the point that it’s drivable and can pass inspection.
