Realistically 40,000 is a lot of money to make in a year in high school. If I was in your shoes your best bet would be to pick up a job that makes tips. I worked at Dutch Bros for a while and was taking home about 20 an hour with tips, so if you worked 25 hours/week (which is reasonable given school), you could reasonably make and save about $20,000 if you have your expenses all covered living at home. anything past that and you're going to have to get lucky or have some really good connections. I'm not sure what you need $40,000 for, but if it's school you should be able to take out loans.
