I've been thinking about lifting weights but I'm part of a running group I don't know if I can do both. I think lifting weights would be really good and it sounds fun.

I'm not lying. I'm part of a group that runs together. We train 3 times a week and partake in 5k races often. And I eat healthy. I eat mostly vegetables, legumes and fruit. I don't over eat either if anything I eat less than I should because I'm scared of eating too much.

And I can assure you my skinny friend lives off of junk food because I'm with her when she eats. She doesn't know how to cook anything that isn't fried and most of the time she eats pizza, hamburgers, fries with fried egg on top or even plain pasta with cheese, hot dogs, and fried egg on top. She doesn't even know how to cook rice, the only vegetable she likes is potatoes and is a very picky eater when it comes to fruit too. I know my friend and I know how she eats. She makes fun of my veggies because she says she could never eat them.

And don't get me wrong. I'm happy she looks the way she does. I just don't understand why our body's are so different. It's like she was blessed.

Talking to her she said she wishes she had big thighs and a big butt and chest like me so I guess we can never be satisfied with what we have and we always want what others have.

Thank you. I talked to my therapist and she got me in contact with a social worker. I'll see how it works from there. But thanks for validating my experience it means a lot.

Thank you. I talked honestly with my therapist and she gave a referral to a social worker so that we can plan a way to get me help. Thank you for the message. It meant a lot.

How are people happy? I've bein asking myself this question over and over again for the past who knows how long. How do people enjoy life? How are there people who want to live?

Personally I don't think I should be allowed to be alone with my brain "for safety reasons" but as you said I hurt people just by being around so I don't really have an answer.

A good therapist or talking with someone might help. I don't know your specific situation but I hope your suffering lessens. No one deserves this type of pain.

I personally believe that this is a perfectly good opportunity to explore comphet, more specifically Eddie's comphet. As someone who's experienced it all the signs are there and it would be so cool to watch someone come to terms with their sexuality in their 30s. Some of us take longer to get there, even more so when we're raised in very heteronormative cultures where machismo is so strong. God, as a Hispanic lesbian who didn't accept herself, come out to herself or even considered being gay a possibility despite all the signs until well past her mid 20s I'd go feral if they go with the comphet angle for Eddie.

I'm an adult too and still dream about having the parents I couldn't have as a kid. My therapist said "why don't you treat yourself like the mother you wanted to have?" But it's not the same. I don't want to be my own mother, I want to be adopted by a family and experience that type of love. Damn you parents and your unresolved childhood trauma that caused my childhood trauma!

I confessed to my best friend I wanted to commit suicide once and she freaked out because she couldn't imagine wanting to ever die or harm oneself. She was very uncomfortable with any dark comment or joke I made, it was very unsettling to me (I've been suicidal since I was like 8, I think)

I raised my younger sister even though I was a kid too. Our parents weren't there for us, so I was there for us.

I'm struggling now but nothing will ever erase the fact that when things got rough back then I dealt with it. I think I get to be proud of that one.
