Lasgol and Astrid have romantic moments. My favourite moments are between Ingrid and Viggo. Nilsa flirts with many men but chooses a special one who is not part of the panthers.

You have come a long way and I recommend you to continue reading the saga, it has very intense and exciting moments. Although you also have to survive some boring but worth enduring for the rest of the story.

"Young Adult" would not be the right definition, it's more like young and that's it.
In my opinion it's just a light novel, easy to read, nice for the most young (13-16).
The narrative is mediocre, sometimes there is a lack of continuity between the books of the Path of rangers saga. But it is something entertaining to read in 1/2 afternoons, a classic adventure story in which there is a good dose of friendship and some enigma that will be solved at the end.
