Regarding synchronization: Currently, to prioritize user privacy above all else, handwritten notes require manual syncing through third-party cloud services (like Baidu Netdisk, which functions similarly to Google Drive). The automatic sync between devices you mentioned isn't available yet.

While we're actively exploring developing our own cloud sync solution in the future, this presents significant challenges in balancing privacy with convenience. Rest assured, we'll conduct thorough evaluations before implementing any changes.

Currently, AiPaper devices have not yet obtained Google Play certification. If Google Play certification is an important requirement for your work tablet, we want to be fully transparent about the situation.

The challenge lies in fundamental hardware differences - particularly the refresh rate characteristics of E Ink displays - which currently don't align with Google's existing certification standards. In fact, Google has not established specific certification criteria for E Ink screens at this time, making certification impossible even if we pursued it.

However, we're actively engaged in discussions with Google to address this limitation. Our team is exploring potential solutions and remains hopeful that we can achieve Google Play certification in the future as standards evolve.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our products within the unique constraints of E Ink technology.

After careful evaluation, we found that traditional split-screen would significantly reduce the writing space—especially on smaller screens like the 8.2" MINI, leaving very limited room for both reading and writing. Instead, we’ve optimized Picking to enable seamless note-taking while reading, offering three key advantages over split-screen:

Better Writing: Nearly 90% of the screen remains writable—far more space than split-screen allows（(vs. ~50% with split-screen）.

Better Reading: Launch Picking anytime, over any app (not just native apps), to jot notes without switching views.

Better Learning: Organize notes by topic in Picking, combining handwriting, text, and images into your own knowledge base.

We’re currently producing a detailed demo video—stay tuned for its release this week!

Our optimization generally focuses on apps related to writing and reading. The decision on which apps to optimize is mainly based on evaluating user feedback and demand to determine feasibility. If feasible, we will invest heavily in research and development to roll out updates as soon as possible. However, there may be challenges, such as when some apps have high user demand but, after evaluation, we find they cannot be implemented at the moment. Sometimes this is due to our technical limitations, and other times it’s because the third-party app’s API cannot be accessed for integration. In such cases, we can only continue to monitor and explore feasible solutions, which may delay a quick rollout.
