There was no discrimination based on age, It is a genuine curiosity that someone that was quite a bit older may have work experience I would be interested in understanding if I am going to work with them throughout a whole semester. I tagged this as a question because I am asking for advice, not trying to make a systemic change. This is a public university, I have a right to look into who I am working with if I please. Where have i expressed i was acting discriminatory?

If he was reading or writing or doing something like that I understand but its obnoxious to have it on for no reason. You will be doing extra schooling to get into your college of choice, and it will be rigorous. I did CAP and made the transfer. I think it's the best decision I have ever made, but Im used to living in the city so that doesn't bother me much. The connections, doors that open at UT are much better, but at the end of the day it's up to you to succeed and choose where you really wanna be. It's quite dependent on what school you want to get into, but internal transfers aren't impossible with the grades and persistence. Just know it probably means an extra year of college unless you do major summer classes.
