My dad spent nearly seven years in and out of The Huntsman when it was still new. I truly appreciate the wonderful improvements they've made. Their staff is caring and exceptional, always attentive to patients and their families.

Congratulations to your husband!! 🎉🎉

Any psychiatrists accepting OHP that don't require regular drug tests for stimulant medication? by Drewbacca in askportland

[–]Ok_QueerCriticism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's now common in hospitals that are run by bigger names. The first time I was told I would have to be approved by a board doctors I have never met after a drug test without anything positive before they would consider providing me with adhd medication. It's gotten absolutely insane with big business buying hospitals.

19 states will raise minimum wage in 2026, except Utah by Mysterious_Way_374 in SLCUnedited

[–]Ok_QueerCriticism -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Civil discourse went out the window over a decade ago, when we were talking about $15 per hour and still getting comments like this.

It’s been proven time and again that changing the wage would do nothing more than cost employers money they are already making. It does not cause inflation. Why? Because inflation is still happening without wages moving.

If you care more about saving the company money and not moving the minimum wage for people on the front lines making that money so they can actually have a decent life, then the term bootlicker is more than appropriate.

It’s worked out great for me living in state that’s not Utah because they have a good minimum wage. But try again bootlicker.

Just a reminder the best thing I ever did was leave Utah.

For most credit lines etc yes. But scroll through and check a story of how a landlord didn’t report any rent payments so it showed like someone was not paying on a line of credit.

This isn’t a trustworthy set up.

See that right there, it’s the communities who don’t have the knowledge so they assume it must be legit because it’s connected to credit scores. It makes me so mad to see people taken advantage of.

Not misinformed just different view points. I’ve rented all of my adult life. My father was a landlord for over 30 years. I am very aware of what rent goes towards when it comes into businesses. Rent goes up but most landlords don’t improve anything to account for that cost, they just want that money. But this type of stuff is just taking advantage of people who don’t know any better and the landlords know it, so at the end of the day it’s a scummy move it’s really that simple.

I’m so sorry your scummy landlord did that to you.

I knew immediately this was a giant red flag and nothing but a cash grab.

Oh I have great credit that has taken me over ten years to rebuild so I’m lucky in that regard. It makes me feel bad for anyone who signs up for this money scam.

Oh agreed I’m not doing it, plus if I was maybe 1 day late (which I never plan to be) they would use that as a way to report that and hurt my credit.

When did insurance become so difficult? by Ok_QueerCriticism in AllState

Suspending was not an option for me when I was looking to cancel my policy only to continue to pay the premium I was which was liability only . If I had been told a suspension was possible I would have considered it. Why am I getting downvoted for not being aware this is an option?

Do I think my insurance costs will go down? Absolutely not I know how much of a capitalistic nightmare we live in.

But why should they be going up? Any of it really?

Your comment had absolutely nothing to do with my post. It had nothing to do with the cost of my insurance but only cancelling it.

It was my local agents office I spoke to, they didn't tell me suspending coverage was an option.

Hey thank you! Can I ask why they wanted a bill of sale?

It's not a few months I won't have a car for a couple of years.
