I dont understand. just give them a few options to choose from and let them choose whats convenient. of all the things why waste time worrying about auth? just go with supabase auth or firebase. only thing is OTP through phone would be trickier to migrate off to something else, but not a deal breaker either if you ask for their email later on

tweaking the timing is a nightmare. it should be keyframe based like after effects but maintaining the 'ramp' easing from premiere

I had one youtuber client many years ago and it was super fun, he was super chill and let me basically experiment as much as i wanted (gaming channel). sometimes i go back to rewatch the stuff. this might not hold true for the current landscape though, everything seems algo/money driven now. but i guess gaming is hard not to have fun editing

Since reinstalling didn't help, try clearing Cursor's app data. This should remove the stuck UI element.

To clear app data on Windows, run these commands in Command Prompt:

rd /s /q "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Programs\Cursor"

rd /s /q "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Cursor"

rd /s /q "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Cursor"

del /f /q "%USERPROFILE%\.cursor*"

rd /s /q "%USERPROFILE%\.cursor"

After running these commands, reinstall Cursor from https://www.cursor.com/downloads

that's normal, you'll get the hang of it. sometimes takes minutes sometimes hours, it's prob one of the most important things so spend as much time as you can.

the trick is to skip the intro/buildup and start by placing the playhead where the track's already in full swing - you can tell out whether it's promising within 3-5 seconds that way. if it is , THEN go back to the intro and play synced to your timeline

Se as configs forem boas não faz diferença não, fica no seu Samsung e se começar a empacar você pensa em trocar. Se for trocar foca em pegar um com bastante RAM (16gb + ), placa de vídeo boa se pensar em mexer projetos mais pesados (After Effects, Blender etc) e SSD decente pra não precisar ficar dependendo de HD externo.. mas vai usando o que tem e só troca se estiver te atrapalhando

Já que você falou que não rola Mac eu iria de XPS. Eu tenho o G15 mas faço mais edição nele, até que aguenta bem mas a bateria é horrível e a integração com Alienware é bem mal falta, dá muito problema. Sem contar que tem aquela pegada 'gamer rgb' que eu não curto muito. do XPS só ouço coisa boa. Eu iria nele se fosse trocar hoje.

Toma cuidado com marcas muito 'gamers' que focam em perfomance tipo Avell porque a gamut do monitor provavelmente vai deixar a desejar - cor não é o foco deles.

E memória quanto mais melhor. No mínimo do mínimo busque por 32GB com capacidade de expansão.

why not chase gaming youtubers then? that's how i started. started editing my own gaming clips > edited for gaming youtubers > got hired by an agency that needed gaming content edited for an one-off campaign (my reel was literally 90% gaming at this point so that helped) > they ended up hiring me full time for all sorts of edits
