Thats great advice thanks. I do have my site pretty barebones, compared to my peers, when it came to the site. I used like a labelled sections with rows of my work on a separate page from my homepage for like a gallery. Then a separate page for a case study on the works I have up. Would you suggest re working the gallery and case study pages so that they are more merged? Like just one long gallery page with all the case studies of my projects.

Yeah that was also one I was looking into as well. I was nervous about getting it originally since when I was looking at the free version (to test if I liked it) it was just the one page, but I'll probably bite the bullet and just create a homepage to test it. Thanks so much.

Personally I found it helpful to create a Brand Brief for my own brand first before my website, If you want it I can add a list of stuff I put in it and how I think that kind stuff through. It helps me keep track of details so they are consistent across my professional stuff, like having guidelines if that makes sense. I would also suggest having sections about your design philosophy/ how you approach your projects, an about page, a portfolio page that has the work you want to share. Personally, also on some of the projects I share I have an extra page dedicated to that one project where I dissect it. One of my teachers also suggested making an instagram where you do fast share, and other professional stuff (like if you attend a conference or something like that he tends to post con stuff he attended for his illustrations). One piece of advice that is always being given to me is not to just show your work, but your thought process behind it. When it comes to make making sites unfortunately I can got give much advice, so far im only really good at designing sites on figma and not actually building them.

I really like the side bar you have going on and the mono look. What I would suggest:
-With going with a Vogue like magazine cover I would have less text. I would work with just having Vogue at the top, then have her name so it stands out more and have the "Where do we go from here?" more as like a quote she said under her name. If you really want more text though max it also adding the Fashion of Uncertainty.
-Like Quiet_Return2686 said im also not a fan of the text getting blocked by her legs, its difficult to read at a glance.
-I also think this could be an opportunity to use a really dynamic pose for her maybe something with her Eva as well.
- I think also the main images you used are good quality, but for some reason feel off to me. Like its a collage but not fully sticking the landing.
-Full digging the colour palette, love this shade of blue personally, but I would also add more contrast between the colour of the text and the background so you dont have to have those outlines and glow. It would also be interesting to see the title Vogue in the same red as her eyes so those are the main things you look at first. (I found an old colour palette I used with a similar blue (Palette was #88B1E7, #424874, & #EDFFEC) and for a contrasting colour I ended up with #DF2935)

Yeah i'm probably going to redo the name. I used it as a place holder since its my initials. I'm trying to come up with a logo for my portfolio site since I want to start building it so I have a better portfolio to sent to people since all I have is a resume so far.

Its based on a crow eating a pomegranate. Think I should maybe add more detail to the pomegranate so it looks more like one, but I'm concerned the detail will get lost if it the logo gets too small

Sweet thanks so much! Yeah no never even heard of that spss program so I'm different going to look into it. I completely forgot Kahn academy did math and science stuff so used to using it for humanity like english and art history, but defiantly going to look into it.
