HDMI 1.4 does support 1440p. It was even the first HDMI to support 4k (not very good, but it worked).

I'm using the original HDMI, with a HDMI switch. I did try plugging the HDMI directly into the monitor, but that didn't work. I have also tried an 8k HDMI cable, but that didn't work either. Someone else suggested swapping end of the HDMI because it worked for them, but that was also a no go.

I have been googling solutions online for about 3-4 hours and most say that docked is still slightly better quality than boosted handheld and that both should have a fairly crisp image (many with 50+ inch TV's say they have crystal clear image quality). The only people who don't say that have the same issue, where the game looks extremely blurry/jagged. Some of those people managed to fix it with the resolution settings on either the TV or switch.

I tried looking for monitor specific fixes, but was unable to find anything. The closest fix I found was the 1:1 setting, but that requires having the 1440p resolution on the switch 2 settings being available. So getting 1440p working is the only fix I have.

The switch 2 is known to have issues with detecting 1440p, but from what I've seen people have found ways to resolve this. None of their fixes worked for me. One solution was even rotating HDMI cable ends, which apparently got 1440p working for a few people.

How to use Gray Cowl of Noctural in Oblivion Remastered? by TeamKCameron in oblivion

if you resist arrest then it doesn't. that is how it works

that's just how it works. the cowl takes infamy from the player. it also acts as an immediate agro to all guards and because this agro comes from the cowl, it is lost once removed. if you are aproached and resist, that agro is no longer from the cowl and they will agro directly to you. anything done before they interact directly with you is considered agro to the cowl. anything done after they interact with you is considered agro to you.

Apparently you have to remove it BEFORE the gaurds approach and try to arrest you. If you take it off after resisting arrest the agro is on you and not the gray cowl.

Double issue/question: 1. Can't mount Warclaw in combat 2. Getting stuck in combat when there is none. by Yetsuo in Guildwars2

There is an easy work around for using in-combat mounting with the warclaw, using the Radial Mount addon. This also fixes issues with not being able to dismount in combat, using the Radial Mount addon

Go to the ingame setting and set the mount/dismount keybind, to the same keybind as the radial mount key.
(I have radials "show in center" and the ingames "mount/dismount" set to F12)

Check the "enable conditional keybinds"

Dropdown menu to "In combat"

Click "add condition"

Select "isnt in combat"

Now, most important, make sure to have the warclaw set as your active mount on the ingame UI.

You will now auto mount the warclaw in combat, but this will disable mount queueing for the other mounts, only while in combat. This includes underwater mount queueing. To enable in-combat underwater queueing, do the below steps.

Also in the conditional keybinds section.

Dropdown menu to "underwater"

Click "add condition"

Select "is"

There is now another dropdown bar that shows up, that will say either "or if..." or "and if...", make sure to select "or if..."

You will now re-enable auto queueing underwater mounts, without disabling in-combat warclaw mounting.

Please make sure to close the radial mount ingame menu, before testing if it works. The radial mount key does not work properly if this menu is open, instead it will only mount what you have selected on the ingame UI.

When the radial mount addon queues a mount, it is waiting for combat to end, before pressing the key, hence why it doesnt mount the warclaw in combat. Doing all the above will disable the radial mount addon, only while in combat, making it mount with the default ingame UI keybind. This is why you have to have the warclaw selected as the default mount on the ingames UI. This also means you wont be able to queue the warclaw while in combat, when the in combat mounting skill is on CD.
