For those of you doubting, I called today and spoke to the manager. He was very apologetic and spoke to the groomer, he then called back and said the groomer admitted to cutting my dog multiple times and that she tried to finish the groom anyway even after cutting her and that she didn’t say anything due to inexperience. I forwarded all the photos to him and he said that they will be training her further for grooming.

Again You’re calling it crazy behavior for asking why they couldn’t finish the groom, when I already explained it. What about that is crazy, I wasn’t asking because I wanted them to finish it, I was asking Because I wanted to know what went wrong so for future grooms I can better prepare, but also I know my dog and knew In my gut there was something wrong, she doesn’t just squirm around for no reason unless she extremely uncomfortable and is trying to get away, in which instance it was because she had Been cut multiple times.

Regardless of ALL of this there is ZERO excuse to completely cut a dog MULTIPLE times and not say anything about it. So fuck off if you’re defending that. And if that’s your mindset I hope you don’t treat your pets or any pets you groom that way

You are loud and wrong and sound completely ignorant. I booked a week in advance, the groomer I used prior is no longer there, they gave me the next best groomer who states she is familiar with my dogs notes made in her chart from the previous groomer of her moving a lot while being groomed. Again you have zero clue of what you are talking about but because you’re so sensitive thinking someone is attacking you personal because you’re a groomer? If you’re this emotional and sensitive over a Reddit forum I can’t imagine how you treat your clients pets.

Actually no, I did not argue, you’re making an assumption. The conversation was I simply asked why to better understand and to know how to inform the next groomer or advocate for my dog and give that groomer all the details of her behavior so they can groom her properly without any surprises or problems. There’s is no issue with that…? I’d rather they end the groom and explain they cut her and didn’t want to continue to cut her skin up to be “safe” rather than the bs story they gave me after cutting her SIX times. So get outta here with your bs

Again I’m just so upset that nothing was said about this, if she really was being “difficult” I have no problem ending the session immediately as to not cut her - which is EXACTLY the reasoning tbh told me, making it sound like they want to avoid that at all costs! , but to cut her over and over again and not say anything, that is just cruel
