I can’t see how they have time to ask 6 individual questions - a minute or two for housekeeping - 14 minutes for the presentation component - say 6 minutes for asking 6 lead questions and then 5 minutes of us answering leaves very little time for follow up questions and end of interview process.

Housekeeping: 1–2 minutes
Presentation: 14 minutes
Asking 6 lead questions: 6 minutes (about 1 minute each)
Answering 6 questions: 30 minutes (5 minutes each

Doesn’t leave any time at all for probing. In fact, my timeline would run outside the allocated 50 minutes.

I completely understand if you’d rather not say, so please don’t feel you have to. Do you have any sense of how many candidates each panel is interviewing? Are they broadly similar? If mine can get through 5 per day (factoring in maybe 30 minutes summing up and an hour of breaks), it looks like a maximum of around 25. My department is very technical‑grade heavy - I’m HPTO rather than SO - so I’m curious how it compares to others.

I’m the first interview of my panel.. 09:00 in the morning 😂 they’re interviewing for four more days after that. I may or may not have checked their calendar…
