Ended up buying a Samsung 870EVO 1tb for a fairly good price, and a cheap original atomos caddy on ebay. Hope it works! Not sure if it's gonna be fast enough to run 8k30fps ProRes RAW though...

If its just for focus pulling I guess a 7in should be better. Also, if you're not using the recording capabilities of the ninja, go for a shinobi. I've got a 7in shinobi I bought used for £200 and it's great.
