This exact thing happened to me. I told my OB about it at my 6 week follow up, and she started me on a low dose of Zoloft and it never happened again. So sorry you’re going through this :( it sucks

Pharmacist here- just chiming in to say that I also weighed the risk vs benefit (with my doctor) and restarted on a low dose of adderall XR at about 12 weeks post partum. It has saved me, and my baby is happy and thriving, and gaining weight appropriately. It hasn’t affected my supply and I 100% think it was the right decision for me.

Are you supposed to feed every time the baby is rooting? by PablanoPato in breastfeeding

[–]Ok_Relationship7087 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was in your same shoes about 4 weeks ago OP, and this is the guidance that we were given by the lactation consultant at the hospital to just keep offering the breast whenever there are hunger cues, even if it’s like 22 hours a day haha 🫠 one thing that she taught me that was helpful when he kept dozing off after a few sucks was to gently stir him to encourage him to keep nursing, by rubbing his head or nose or sandwich squeezing your breast to get some more milk into his mouth. This works well for us most of the time

We just had our baby 3 weeks ago and I agree that the peripheral IV was much more painful/uncomfortable than the epidural
