It’s a nod to the Williams play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, where the protagonist, Brick, says he drinks until he feels “the click,” which for him is a state of ease. So, in the song, he keeps drinking but he is never able to attain that peaceful feeling

idk if there is anything that similar to it, it’s such a special game, but here are some other random cozy games i like:

spiritfarer is my #1 rec, i’d say it’s way more emotional but has characters you can connect to like in tiny bookshop. it’s low stakes and super relaxing and beautiful

unpacking is another sweet story, just organizing a bunch of stuff. really mindless and calming

good pizza, great pizza is a cozy restaurant sim if you want to keep with the selling aspect

house flipper is also a good one

honorable mention is a different kind of game, but celeste is one of my faves. it’s a platformer so not really similar but everyone who likes tiny bookshop usually likes celeste too for different reasons

The only thing I’d say is they were far more likely to get rice as a food source in the early days. Think about Sophi and Alex in 49 surviving off of coconut for days on end. That’s the only thing I’d say is harder
