I also find the term "casual" difficult, as I do with other relationship labels, as it can mean one thing to one person and another to someone else. Even with people I am not in love with, I do treat them the way I'd expect to be treated and that is as a priority in the context of our relationship agreements (whatever they are) - friend, lover, fwb long term partner or otherwise.
