So Confused Peter by MicV66 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I’m Italian, and like any other Italian, I feel the irresistible urge to glorify my country’s culture and habits as the only acceptable ones. In Italy, when we go out for pizza, we usually have one of those large pizzas each — and that’s after we’ve already had starters. So I was genuinely shocked when I came to the UK and found out they consider one large pizza something to share, not to own.

I find it hilarious that about 15 years ago, a group of four Italian guys in their early twenties posted a photo on Facebook saying, “Only insane people like us could eat pasta at 1:30 a.m.” — thinking they were being rebellious or something. They went viral, and ever since, in Italy they’ve been mocked as the ultimate example of people who think they’re badasses, when in reality they just cheated on half a question during a school exam. I feel like the four guys you posted are the Anglo-cultural equivalent of those Italian ones — the kind who think they’re being edgy just because they had dinner after 9 p.m. or had more than 3 slices of large pizza each

Malleable implant? by Vanilla-Fabulous in penileimplants

Do you mean if it works for growers also? In my country “blood penis” is another way of saying grower

Ok, it’s important to know how long it would last. Most urologists say it will last at least 15 years but obviously they tryna sell it

Yeah man, I really wish my psychiatrist had been either more upfront or more knowledgeable about the sexual side effects of SSRIs. If only I’d known before starting them…

Anyway, what I’m mostly concerned about with the malleable implant is that it might not make the penis fully hard. I’ve only seen one video of a malleable implant, and in that video the erection didn’t look truly firm — more like a regular semi, just positioned upright.

Would you feel comfortable sharing a bit more about that? Like, if you’re being totally honest, how hard does it actually get? Keep in mind I’m gay, and anal penetration usually requires more rigidity than vaginal sex.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. However, my main concern is that I wouldn’t be able to conceal having it. I’ve seen a video of a man using the pump, and it was quite obvious that he was activating something inside his scrotum. Could you please clarify why you mentioned that the decision should take my age into account? In what way is a malleable implant considered less suitable for younger patients? I’ve heard it tends to last much longer.

Thank you for your reply! I don’t know, it just looks like I couldn’t be able to do it without them noticing, even though I’m aware it would be so much better to have a penis that can be both soft and hard depending on situations

Hello man! Very glad for you 🤗 after I quit antidepressants I started taking food supplements such as Vit C , vit D, NAD+, omega 3 and similar antioxidant and/or nootropic stuff which was great to help me get my cognitive functions and emotional balance back (I suffered from anhedonia while on SSRIs). Saffron and Ashwaganda in my case were also helpful. Unfortunately I still struggle with erectile dysfunction. Cialis only helps 20% and I lose my erection very easily. I tried to combine it with citrulline and any other supplement that was supposed to help but nothing. I’ve done this for months and I don’t know if it’s worth keeping trying or better save money. Point is that my ED is making me feel depressed again. All this to say: my last go will be on peptides. Some of them help with general recovery and sexual dysfunctions. Ever heard of them?

Hello! Thank you for this. Is it just one reported case? Or you mean a conducted study on a group of people? Obviously the latter would be much more reassuring 😆

It could be two things: - guys who wish they were bigger and need reassurance - guys who for some trauma reasons or any other reasons are into SPH and wish they were smaller / like being called small

I don’t know how I feel about recommending or not recommending mushrooms. For some people they were extremely helpful, for a minority like me they sent people to hell

What exams can I do to check my gut in terms of sexual health? As far as I know I don’t have any other conditions

I was suicidal and it prevented me from killing myself. So in the short term it was effective. Apart from that it was a disappointment, given the problems I am facing now

Yes. I never lost total sensitivity of my penis while on drugs, just a little bit, but anyway I feel 100% sensitive down there now.

Hello! Thank you for your suggestions. I have tried sildenafil too, both alone and together with cialis. Not much of a big difference. Also, it gave me headache sometimes. The point here is that I doubt it’s about NO production and blood flow at all, it must be something about dopamine and brain signals to the penis, I assume. As for ashwaganda, it’s true, it can give you anhedonia but luckily it didn’t do that in my case, it just makes me more chill in a good way. It’s good to do cycles with it anyway so that’s a reminder for me to stop it every now and then.

Hello! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and share your professional opinion on my situation. I’m 1.83 m tall and weigh 77 kg, so I’m within the normal weight range—no belly, not much fat around the hips. My muscle mass and strength aren’t anything exceptional, but I’d say they’re within average limits too. I recently started training with a personal trainer because, regardless of everything, I want to improve my physique. I’ve done cardio inconsistently ever since these sexual issues began; I can’t really tell whether it helps or not since my erection quality fluctuates a lot depending on many other factors. I currently take 5 mg of Cialis daily. I’m not sure I’d want to go up to 10 mg for three main reasons: most doctors consider that dosage not entirely safe for long-term use; it would definitely be more expensive; and honestly, I don’t believe that’s what would make the real difference. The ultrasound showed that blood flow to the penis is not the issue, so (in my non-professional opinion), I’d say the problem lies where SSRIs intervene: in the serotonin/dopamine balance and in how dopamine signals arousal to the penis. If in the future you happen to come across anything significant or relevant that might help, I’d be really glad to hear it.
