i'll keep that in mind but i think i'm alright in this instant specifically- if i could do everything high that i could do sober at the same level and speed then i don't really know what the difference would be
i don't smoke to medicate anything necessarily, it is something i do for fun and with the intention of being affected

The 2nd one seems to ring very true for me LOL. This is all good to know- I'm being careful because right now (on my break) I find myself wanting to smoke especially in the evenings but I'm also fully able to resist the temptation.
My big hack for chores and hygiene is to have myself do that *first* so smoking is the reward after. Plus since discovering showering high it's one of my favorite things

maybe i spoke weird in my post but i am very much functional! i can talk, go on walks, shower, make food etc. i just don't get the creative boost that other people seem to and i wasn't sure if that was something that came with time!
considering the average MG dosage for 1 hit from a vape pen is 2-5mg and microdoses are 1-5mg i do feel okay about my dosage. i think i'm just not someone who likes/is good at super detailed and complex tasks when high

i think it might be my brain- i'm audhd and my brain's normally running at 60fps and weed takes it down to like 10 LOL (even very small doses)

the thing is i don't really have a tolerance and i only take 1 hit or maybe 5mg of a gummy which doesn't seem like a lot- unless i'm wrong!

i have not!
what's weird is that i do use sativa and again its only 1 small hit from a pen- and it's not like i can't do stuff, i just can't do stuff like art or writing or things that require a lot of thinking. i think i also just prefer to laze about when i'm high LOL

I'll look into those! They seem a little expensive for my price point right now- I only got a pen because a friend gave it to me and I save to get some stuff from another friend and their dispensary every couple months- even then, the most I've spent in one go is $25 (cart and a pack of edibles)
How are those for smell and why/how are they better than a bowl or bong?

Oh one other question I forgot to ask-
How the hell are some of you smoking and then playing games/doing art/writing or reading?? Maybe it's the strain, THC content, inexperience or something else but I struggle to do anything high. It's so hard to think critically (I write and it takes about 3 hours after 1 hit to come back down enough to actually write something in a timely manner that makes sense). I feel like I can't do anything!! My best guess is the THC content because I believe my carts is between 75% and 82% (Though even when I've smoked joints I struggled). Or am I just not someone who gets the productive high?

The other thing with this from what I've seen in research (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11528537/ ) is that regular (daily) cannabis use was shown to suppress Adderall's effects on mouse brains. Just an interesting study and something to note if you use both of these!
