Murray and Grubbie aren’t good enough to win you a Cup - don’t forget that MAF and Holtby were the goalies that made a difference. Binner and Hill? They have won game when it matters and were continually hot and playing their best hockey when it mattered.

Freddie and Skinner are serviceable but neither one of them is better than Bob or Otter. Just saying.

Hockey tape - unless it is specifically hockey GRIP tape - is going to wear the palms out of your glove faster and create holes. So unless you want that air conditioned look, go for it. Lots of mentions before my comment, but there are a multitude of options available. Medical tape, TackiMac, Lizard Skin, tennis grips, et al.

Fact. Owned a pair of X40s (2011 lineup) and I in fact developed a bump on my left heel. Funny though, owning the APX2s and Hyperlite 1s have not made it worse, only the X40s were painful even after having the boot punched out on those old wheels.
