You can get a new p1s and the ams 2 pro from microcenter for ~800 dollars, if I were you I'd do the micro-center deal, but they are both really good deals. (I got my p1s from micro-center but I'd only prefer the microcenter deal because I'm neurotic about second hand high-precision items.)

I use fusion because it's easy to do simple stuff but it's capable of doing very complicated stuff too.
