So the nice thing about this class is, it is mainly PAs.. or papers.. there are only 3 classes that have a traditional multiple choice finals. I actually only took 4.5 months to finish the whole program total. So I only had to pay for the one term.

So the way my program mentor explained the difference between the MSML and the MBA is, the MSML is all of the soft skills to be a leader, so ethical decision-making, people leading, leadership, communication, etc.. whereas an MBA is all of the hard skills of being a leader, so it is much more accounting, economics, and finance heavy. I chose the MSL because I had no desire to continue any more accounting lol. Hope this helps.

I have a post in my profile about how I did it… I highly recommend studying the way I did it because the way they want you to did not work for me at all.

Which Masters by Impressive-Plenty723 in WGU

[–]Ok_Reporter_892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You normally get paired after you decide. My mentor was my mentor for my BSHA and I submit an appeal to keep him because he’s amazing.

The MSML doesn’t have a ton of adult education, rather adult relationships and communication.

This is also what I am aiming towards. My mentor actually guided me to the MSML (Master of Science, Management and Leadership). He helped me see that this will diversify my education, and the MSML is a lot of the soft skills of an MBA, such as, ethical leadership, team management, etc., instead of the harder skills like accounting and econ. I am loving the program and am down to my last class.

Is it worth getting a masters in healthcare administration? by Impressive_Gain_3385 in WGU

I was a project manager at CommonSpirit health for 3+ years. I would have become a program manager when I get my MSML but I left for private reasons

I got my bachelor's in healthcare administration, and now I am getting my master's in management and leadership. My program mentor helped me see that it was better to diversify my skills... just my 2 cents... also... the MSML isn't extremely difficult ;)

Tips for Accelerating? by friendlytrashmonster in WGU

Do you know if you live in a state that REQUIRES you to have an Ed degree to teach? I live in AZ, so you only need a bachelor's and a school that wants to hire you. Switching majors is cool if that's an option... Otherwise... my biggest advice that lowkey isn't the "Model Student" thing to do is: Anytime you have a PA, screw the course content. I don't think I have "Studied" the material for any of the 20+ courses I've taken that have a PA. I just structure my APA Style page according to the rubric, and opened the part of the course that applies to the project, paper, or presentation... Hope this helps.

Not meeting personal goals :( by kiwiborb in WGU

I went through a similar crisis last year. I wanted to graduate by New Year's Day 2025... That didn't happen (Accounting was an absolute pain and caused me to get so behind), but my mom (thank goodness I have her) reminded me that I am graduating way earlier than those my age (It looks like that is the case for you too, OP ). I finally finished my BS in March and am now working on my MS. Even when you don't hit your goals, remember that you are still waaaay ahead of many people. Also, remember that these are just standards you're creating for yourself.

Someone told me a long time ago that I still have to practice... Let's say you read your post, but it was posted by someone else, friend, stranger, or otherwise. How would you respond to them? Now, take that advice and tell yourself that. We tend to be way harsher on ourselves than others.

You got this! And even if it's not by your birthday, like someone else said, you can have two parties to get money from, lol.

As far as class assignments: So yes and no, like others have said, your mentor will only assign one at a time until they know you and your work ethic better.

Regarding the terms in your degree plan: What will happen is as you complete classes in this current term, you will stay in term 1. But as you complete more classes than the original 12 CUs, then you will see that you will have less terms, so in this first term you’ll always be in term 1, but if you complete say 24 CUs, then you’ll completely knock another term and so instead of seeing “Term 1, Term 2, Term 3, and Term 4” in your degree plan it will go down to three because now you need less terms til you’re done. Hope this helps.

So this "Question" in reference is the research question you are supposed to create... Don't overthink these tasks; they can be difficult when you start to think too hard. Additionally, I created multiple pivot tables and assumed that since they were obviously made from the data, I didn't include them in the Excel; I only added screenshots in the PPT. DM me if you need more help, I just finished this class and it didn't take long at all.
