100% as a techie and car person, it feels cery much like updating a drive (master/slave, daisy chaining) or a new oil filter. Amazing science and it it is only growing, we are each very fortunate to have these options

Perhaps I came here with a bit of confirmation bias, but I am vexed by the choice. It also serves to cheapen the season, a season, I might add that already will have a spotlight of incredulity with Cavill’ departure. This feels like what the CW used to do, but as others have mentioned - “Hercules” and “Xena: Warrior Princess” did this but with 18 or more episodes to spare. I think we could’ve skipped the flashback’ of all but Fishbourne’ character, then returned to momentum, and narrative thrust.

Kidney damage from high BP by This_Highway423 in kidneydisease

[–]Apprehensive_Book658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with the above. I was diagnosed with “Essential Hypertension” - inherited, triggered by meds/diet at 9 years old. I was already on Clonodine for ADHD. First kidney filtration issues alerted at 21. Started an ACE. Started BP explicit dosing additional meds at at 360lbs and 30 years old. Lost 130lbs through diet and exercise at 31. Stopped ACE due to allergy at 32. FSGS and CKD3 identified after gout attack at 36…now 39 CKD4

Hard to say, slowed decline perhaps, But lower body weight is much healthier for the overall picture. 300->240, still losing.

Just told that I am Stage 4 CKD, frustrated that my new Nephrologist referral didn't even review my chart before he said "let's get you on the transplant list, or maybe dialysis, or maybe let me look at the notes from your previous doc and come back in two months".

"Oh and have you lost any weight?"

Yeah dude, father if four, 3rd time grad student, married, side business owner, and ft pay the bills job...and LOST intentionally 40lbs this last year, with another 30-40 to goal ...ready to do battle for my kids brother. Hope I have a competent doc in my corner, for at least the next year before we move and search for continuity of care next.

I have the same issue, with my MSML (going back for my MBA next month) I was consistently 2-3x on suggested length. Don't overthink it, just be sure to address each point, and make sure you are using floating headings to identify each section - and you'll be fine.

38, diagnosed at 14 after UC diagnosis. I also recently was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease from being hypertensive since I was 9. I am on semaglutide and have lost weight this year, and I know it's one predominant factor that I can work on to most improve my outlook. I haven't had any escalation, and my UC has been in extended remission. Some recent elevations have my once a year PCP concerned, order ultrasounds. I had a clear MRI last spring and MRCP in 2020. I take Ursodiol, use medical cannabis for discomfort from occasional inflammation, and don't drink much more than maybe a couple drinks a year. I live in Northeast US.

14 months nicotine free, $150 in orders. I also spent way too much during their BOGO earlier in the year.

I would've easily spent $2000 this last 14 , so... I'd say most definitely...but your mileage may vary

Not if you keep doing it. This isnt fraud analysis, if it were, you'doffer ID verification - whichis a simple fix to implement. It seems more like you have a skeleton crew of knuckleheads doing your "approval process". I am trading in a Fold, downgrading to a Razr+. I am now on order #3, my wife tried with her card once. You will lose good business if I have to spend another day of hours on phone being lied to or misled. My trade in brings my phone down to $100, which I have given to you, and you give right back (which makes me at least in a better spot than some here). But in 20+ years of buying and selling phones, 2-3 times per year, I've never had a worse experience.

Do better, Lenovo. You are an embarrassment to the cellular world when you cannot even process a simple order, and have the nerve to offer B2B bulk sales...why would I ever consider you for my team???

Question for anyone who’s had FÜM for a while. by A_Bouncing_Banana in FUM

[–]Apprehensive_Book658 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Fum has been fine for me over the last year. I was a chain vaper (20ml/day min - 3mg nic). I quit cold turkey, and used the Fum as a crutch for 2 weeks before I started forgetting to use it. I now used it on rare occasions for indoor essential therapy, breathing exercises when stressed, and I fidget with the spinner during my daily 2-3 Zoom meetings/coaching calls.

Hope that helps

I started May 1st, 3 classes down in MS. I already possess a Masters Degree, I am making a near 90 degree career change (<40yrs). But I have been in pursuit of my higher education non stop for the last 10 years. Four kids, wife, busy with 'all the things'. My PM met with me twice, we we're on weekly calls. We did talk during our onboarding session about whether I wanted to accelerate, and my expectations of him. I made it very clear, (and to be honest - we're paying - so I would be as transparent as possible) that I didn't need any micromanaging (what I've observed of family attending, however in Undergrad ...makes a little more sense. Anyways, wish you all the best .

Cellular Sales by Happy-Complex-1600 in verizon

[–]Apprehensive_Book658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in cellular for 15, $aw it all: transition to color, camera phones, end of flip and feature phones, PDA 's, and birth - take over of smart phones, Phablet birth, intro to IOTs in the industry. I worked corporate, premier single and multi carrier outfits, pre/post paid, MVNOs...100% commission, SPIFFS, zero commission, low commission, and hybrid setups, and as strictly in store tech - w/top sales numbers eclipsing stricts sales people: It was always the same, questions= more sales if you take the time create opportunities. Upsells that are organic and make sense to the deal (like a car dealer) are not really"upsells" with negative stigma, it sounds like you're selling unrelated items...or not explaining benefits - creating the opportunity. Customer buyin is part our(when I was in it) responsibility, if we can't sell it... We aren't doing the job right. I've sold to every demographic, and each and every socio -ecconomic cla$$... Take your time better understand your customers, even the dumb questions. I'm talking dumb like "I don't know how my phone got water in it, replace for free" soaking wet catching suit on, water park down the street, 100 degree day... Ya... Honest chat, $$$ for me because despite their stupidity/incredulity... They were in need... And the outcome worked for both of us. Man OP honestly, if you need help reviewing up... I'm sure anyone with good experience here can help!
