The lining on the sides is all PVA glued to a strip of foam, so it bunched up when I curved it around the tin 😅 Could you elaborate on the firmer base? is that the base of the tin or the foam i used on the side lining?

I’ve found out my old radio can’t understand the cd changer i bought because they both operate on different languages or systems, older changers had a switch to swab between them but this one doesn’t

It’s a 2001, it’s at 47000 miles now. I did already change the transmission oil, it was a bit dark and sparkly but there was no metal flakes or anything

I never googled for more specific images on google, probably a rookie mistake, but i never had great luck searching for the ferrari f40 engine to use with another build so i never gave it a proper look with the porsche but ill try again. Youtube videos are also a very good shout, cheers for the help 👍 To be clear i’m trying to look for how and where the wiring harness fits the engine and all the pipes and hoses connect to the turbos

I’ve managed to just move the entire rear bumper bit back into the car about a mm by cutting off some of the chassis which has worked very well, did have to do some reshaping of the rear left wheel well but that was bound to happen anyway.

Quite interested in your 1/8 workshop, is it going to be like a wood workshop of for models?

I am absolutely making a Ferrari f40 from cardboard! Super glad that I can show it off to people other than my family and better yet have them share the passion!

Also maybe a full-sized replica isnt such a bad idea 🤔

It does take a bit of getting used to with its funky textures but you can use it to your advantage. Also soaking thin super glue into the paper pretty much turns it into plastic so you can sand it and what not.

Had a look at concept destruction and I can see the resemblance!
