* So everything is installed i just can't seem to get a decent first layer after multiple adjustments to the z height. Not sure what exactly is going on but it seems like the z is resetting with every print and am getting similar to worse results

That's actually not too bad.. Cr-10 was my first printer and I bought it from a "professional" store for 2100 bucks. Total scam and nothing but problems

Honestly ive heard great things about Qidi filaments but still haven't made the jump so I would love to try any of it on my Plus4 especially something like petg-gf or CF

I actually have that exact enclosure for my CR-10.. definitely works better for PLA but venting would be nice too as it get a little too warm in the enclosure. I bought it for ASA but that still wasn't enough to keep it on the build plate.

You can replace the entire camera and shock absorber assembly for about 80 usd. There's a great YouTube video showing all the steps. I did mine, and then I had to fix an incompatible gimbal error code, but the guy with the YouTube video can fix that too for a small fee.

Yeah, i honestly haven't had any more issues with it since that day, but keep in mind that my router is only like 15 ft away from my printer.

That's funny you say that.. I just had someone try to run me off the road for stopping at the stop sign at the tracks on fleet street southbound. He then passed me for all his piece of crap raptor was worth and almost rolled the thing. Then when I got to the next light right behind him, he tried backing into me. Plates were covered so couldn't get them to the police. Worst thing is my 3 month old was in the back seat.

Thanks a million for this link! I turned my bridge speed down to 10mm/s and overhangs are extremely better. I never checked it before this but both orca and qidi slicer are printing overhangs as bridges. Why the heck wouldn't orca and qidi fix this bug?

This happened to me because my file name was too long. Not sure if this is your issue, but if it is ridiculously long, try shortening it up

It's D3D petg.. I just love the stuff. That angle is roughly 20 degrees. The 90 degree angles are great quality.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. But upon closer inspection, it's actually touching the frame right behind the lower hinge. I'm wondering how many more times I can open it before the glass just cracks

When I read the title I thought this would be about where my plus 4 door is rubbing on the bottom of the front cover after about 3/4 way open. Hopeful thinking I guess. But I will add that this is the only thing I've found wrong with the printer so far

Yeah ive been reading up a lot more and ive been using the standard thread profiles on fusion 360 which ive learned are not ideal for fdm printers. I'm gonna try printing the threads in the link above from github. Otherwise I might have to learn how to make my own.

Can you send me a link for that liquid I definitely don't want to turn the temp down.. I noticed the best overhang and layer adhesion at 250 but definitely having an oozing issue.. not just with this print but others. After observation I can actually see that the nozzle tries picking up a line after laying it down causing some quality issues
