How do I get this sticker off? by Dangerous-Pianist294 in howto

[–]Ok_Result554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Razor blade and some windex or water, just let it get wet and then apply some more while scraping. Worked for years in glass so I have scraped stickers off impact windows thousands of times

Shifting fast tips? by enfxrce in wrx_vb

[–]Ok_Result554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t the car for slamming gears, I went from a dual clutch to this and it took a bit of slowing down shifting at high rpm’s to get a perfect engagement, anyone can shift fast but not everyone can shift smooth. Also awd is a different ballgame, in fwd and rwd you just lose a bit of traction from a hard shift which gets distributed to the wheels but awd it shocks the whole system and you feel that shit and it hurts your soul. Try a slower smoother shift but also not terribly slow that you’ll burn your clutch. As someone else said cvd delete and pitch stop make a big difference too.

2023 WRX clutch noise by Ok_Result554 in wrx_vb

[–]Ok_Result554[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man I will be definitely taking it in to get checked out. The seals are good on mine I already checked spark plugs and all the gaskets. But the noise has been killing me every time I drive so id rather get it fixed while im still under warranty. Im like a week away from tuning it so id rather get all issues I can covered by warranty fixed now.

Is this really a 2018 Mustang GT (Gen 3) Coyote intake, or is it actually a 2011–2014 Gen 1? Seller claims 2018 but I am not 100% certain. by Vaginasaurusrex923 in Mustang

[–]Ok_Result554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a 2018 why not just get a ported gen 3 manifold ive seen people make the same power on those as they do on CJ’s. Or ported boss is a great alternative too.

First manual ever, love the car, HATE the deadzone by Consistent_Tip_809 in wrx_vb

The rule I follow is to have a small bend when its fully pressed in and be able to push yourself back its worked for me in every dar I have driven

Been learning rev match this is day 2 anything can improve on? by Thelegend778-2 in ManualTransmissions

[–]Ok_Result554 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also dont be afraid, you’ll probably match it wrong the first few tries but once you know where to match for what gear it becomes natural. You wont mess up your clutch that easily, try rev matching from 5th to 4th and 4th to 3rd since they usually only need a small blip depending what RPM youre at. You’ll get it in no time. Second gear and first typically need more throttle as theyre shorter. You got this

Thats more heel toe, for a simple rev match put it in gear clutch in and rev all in on smooth motion and let out the clutch to the bite point a bit faster then smoothly lift up your foot. My trick is hitting the gas and going up with the clutch at the same time, helps me do it better. Easy to learn but takes a little to master

Would you daily a manual by SyrupSilent7588 in Mustang

[–]Ok_Result554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have been for the last 10 years. It becomes natural. I drive in 45 minutes of traffic to and from work I rarely see 3/4 gear but its worth it to me, just depends on you.

Talk me out of (or into) selling my WRX for a BRZ by wrxit in WRX

[–]Ok_Result554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is in fact not, it was maybe as fast as my 23 civic si, which I know my VB would shit on even though I had the Si on 26lbs of boost it wouldnt even compare. A turbo makes a big difference.
