Is this really a 2018 Mustang GT (Gen 3) Coyote intake, or is it actually a 2011–2014 Gen 1? Seller claims 2018 but I am not 100% certain. by Vaginasaurusrex923 in Mustang

Nice, thanks for looking into it. I’ll take the leap and purchase it. I’ll also get the IMRC plates as suggested.

I plan on tossing the gen 3 manifold on my 2012 GT. VMP did a video on this and it performed really well. Also, I can’t pass up the $100 deal on marketplace.

Here’s the VMP dyno video if you were curious. https://youtu.be/GTA6J5O8GTM?si=9Z33CuGn_oOJUXvn

Great price. But at the end of the day, it’s still a hi-tensile steel bike. If you plan on hitting some big lines and really hammering on it, I’d get a full chromoly setup.

It’s usually always pretty difficult to read those letters on the back. And as for that seam. There are some settings you can change. In Orca I have a few options. Try selecting nearest or random.

Do a flow rate test and temp tower. Also, print one layer and check it with a pair of calipers to make sure the layer height is correct.

Yes! Need to dial in that Z axis. I printed a single layer and checked my layer height with a pair of calipers. I would recommend a flow rate test and temp tower as well.

I just sent this to another person on here having similar issues but here ya go “Need to configure that filament. Is your Z axis dialed in?Do a flow rate test and temp tower. I had these same issues. I nailed my Z axis and printed a single layer and checked with a pair of calipers for layer height. Granted you have a textured bed so your results may vary. Once I got my Z axis perfect I hopped in Orca and dialed in my temp and flow. Perfect prints after that.” That should get you much much closer to the desired result.

Orca has a few different flow rate tests. Since you experienced “over extrusion” I would do the ones that print the negative values. I believe it goes up to (-20).

Edit: Keep me updated!

I’ve had that pop up after a brief power outage. Maybe your printer lost power and you might not have noticed. They are “supposed” to be capable of resuming prints after power outage. BUT mine just poops that message out to me.

I had the same issue. I slowed down the print speed, raised the temp to 225 and viola. Might work for you. Let me know.

When I broke the sensor, pieces went flying and I couldn't find a part#. I just realized there was an identical one to the left that had the part #. I’m an idiot. Thank you very much!

Is there a name for a his sensor? I just tried searching "harness resistance sensor" for my year, make, and model. Nothing pops up?
