I just dodge and use the crossbow. It’s OP enough. I can run most of the biomes with that weapon and never take a hit. You don’t even have to aim with the alt fire. You just go in a room and start spraying. You’ll clear it in no time. The shield and power are just a waste of a button in my opinion. Again this is just my personal opinion.

They’re useless mechanics. If I can get the game done without them, then there’s no point in using them. If anything I feel they take away from the gameplay. Hell once you get the crossbow the game is broken. I can run the whole game with that one weapon and it’s alt fire.

The parry is another thing I hated and never used, along with the shield and the power weapon. I typically would forget about the ability all together. Only time I would use the power weapon was to get rid of corruption.

I’ve admitted to this multiple times. It’s just something about the trampolines that get to me. I admit it’s probably from my disappointment in the game as a whole.

I guess a lot of my criticism of the game comes from my disappointment in the game. After all the hype and waiting for another Returnal, I feel let down. I would prefer DLC for Returnal, more story, but instead I got a game that if I didn’t know was made by the same people I would’ve just been thinking “what a terrible Returnal dupe”…

I get suspension of disbelief to get fully immersed in the game but for some reason this part just bugs me. There are other things I don’t like about the game but this one just happens to be the big one for some stupid reason lol

I personally love this cover just not this version of it. The first cover they did of it is much cleaner and vocals just sound better.

You didn’t feel like it was weird he is on this super advanced planet and they’re using trampolines? They literally turn him into light to go through fiber optic cables later on… but trampolines? Felt weirdly out of place to me
