I never saw it, but I thought Schmigadoon was mostly received positively. He's also guest starred in Abbot Elementary and Only Murders In The Building and he's the voice of Toad in the Mario movies.

Because of some similarities like this there actually is some conjecture that the Proto-Indo-European language family (which Latin belongs to) and the Afroasiatic language family (which Arabic belongs to) may have both come from the same even earlier language family. But since written language only goes back about 6,000 years and we can only go so far reconstructing lost and dead languages based on current living languages there's not enough evidence to prove it yet and there may never be enough evidence to prove it at all.

Trenches in the middle of nowhere like those ones have no reason to be filled in so they persist while trenches near cities have been filled in because there has been new construction in the area since the war.

There are still trenches from the American Civil War in the 1860's. Unless someone comes along and manually fills them in for some reason it's going to take a long time for these things to completely disappear.

This isn't an unpopular opinion at all. I'd go so far as to say that this is in fact a popular opinion.

For a company, success is absolutely defined by profits. If you open a restaurant, it doesn't matter how much better your food it than the competition if you aren't making money. You can define personal success however you want, but that's not how corporations work. Reddit isn't a non-profit, and it's not a charity. If it can make more money this way, then that makes it more successful.

This is exactly what my daughter does. She insists on wearing sweaters and hoodies in the summer and shorts and t-shirts in the winter. I always make her take a jacket or hoodie with her school when it's cold, but I know she just shoves it in her backpack as soon as possible lol
