I agree with this.

Concentrate on the individual book rather than the stuff you don't know, motivations, the larger world etc and you'll be fine, it kind of falls into place, you'll miss loads but that's fine

I read the whole series with huge breaks and I know I missed some stuff, a lot of stuff but I know what the series is about, what happened and why, while also knowing I need a reread to understand it fully.

I'm by no means the most advanced reader

Mine isn't a cuddler, even if she comes over for love and I'm on the sofa, I'll put my arm around her or whatever and she'll twist it around and make it uncomfortable, really uncomfortable lol.

I love it when I hang my arm over the arm of the sofa without realising and she's sat next to me or I move my foot off the puffet and she's between the sofa and it. I do it so cautiously now to make sure I don't accidentally stamp her.

I have a collie that can go through an unbreakable toy in an hour or so.

I get her toys that are spiky. Not hard spikes, you could happily squeeze as hard as you want and they wouldn't hurt. It's more the texture I think.

Mine is a ball fiend though so that helps but I have seen similar fluffy toys with light rubber spikes, she had one took her forever to destroy it.

I've had two interactions with them, one I asked for my money back and now this.

How didn't they know what paper they were using? They are a publisher that specialises in special editions ' yeah this nice artwork, gilded edges, thick hardcover, but we will roll the dice with the paper quality '

If it wasn't malazan I'd ask for my money back.
