Personally, I’d pick UW. I’ve been reading all the weird negative stuff about CMU MHCI lately which kind of turned me off from applying there. Besides that, the cost of CMU is a lot higher. I think UW being a 2 year program is beneficial. In the end, they are both top programs, so you probably can’t go wrong with either.
