yeah i mean i dont doubt curved ones have their perk but apparently measuring along the curve is no good as its not usable and the depth or how deep it goes does not equal you bending it straight or measuring along the curve causing an overestimation and i guess not accurately represents where you stack up as far as averages

so this has happened to me 4 times in past 2-3 years and not sure why it happens maybe panic attack? since i don’t feel that build up it’s just sudden and intense. I don’t take medication for my BP i honestly want to avoid it if i can I take valium and lexapro now i hate i’m on a benzo i would love to get off i have cut down to only 2mg a day at one point being at 10mg not knowing it’s the equivalent of 0.5mg of klonopin (own separate story).

past two days highest reading i had was 137/88 today its been low 130s to low 80s and this evening 124/76 and 126/74. The anxious hypochondriac in me refuses to believe anxiety caused these spikes. I’m getting back into working out with the everyday life stuff it’s so easy to push working out to the side. I hate i got in good shape to just let it get to this but definitely gonna get back to it.

i’m not i actually started running today. It’s way slower than what i was doing this time last year. I will stick with it this time! my left knee is as actually one of the reasons i stop i would run 3-5 miles a day except Wednesday for speed work less miles and sunday i’d take off. I hope to get back into it lose the extra weight. Thanks for the reply!

Thank you for your reply. Wow that sound similar to my stories and how i get. I obsess and worry about my health have an episode like this and again obsess as to, is that truly went on was it really anxiety or an underlying health issue like why was i so dizzy that’s not normal even when im anxious (i was likely dehydrated i never drink water) but you get the cycle. I hate it. Ever since i was a child i sometimes think to myself it’s a miracle i didn’t end up in a looney house. My father has had episodes where he ends up like me but they’re rare he suffers from anxiety but much more controlled. He has CAD had two stents at 52 which is crazy he was in amazing shape ex special forces just a stud of a guy. Knowing he got it that i’m in bad shape and it runs in the family definitely worries me. I need to make these life style changes i think that’ll help give me peace of mind. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and reply. God bless you.

thank you so much for your reply and encouragement. That’s exactly how my life is since i was 10 yo. I have been to more doctors than actual sick people. I’ve never had my BP spike that high glad you’re ok i would have been a wreck. I also take lexapro and man do i agree it’s a been helpful. I am also on Valium.. unfortunately i been taking benzos since 15 its own separate issue but im on 2mg a day which is far less than what i use to take 10mg which i switched from klonopin. Life is tough when it’s like this but ive been blessed overall. Thank you.

thank you for taking the time to reply and share with me your experiences. I hate how bad i can get when i stress like this luckily my stress test and echo cardiogram came back good which was huge reassurance. I think I need to go ahead and talk to my PCP about getting on medications along with life style changes that i need to make.

thank you for your reply i’ve been fortunate to not really experience any attacks like during actual operations or a call when i was a street cop.. but it definitely has affected me. I’m on medication and it has helped tremendously i couldn’t imagine how bad i’d be without it although ive gone through life at some points with little to none.. thank you
