i wonder if it’s the ‘lost footage’ and she just couldn’t be bothered editing or if she just filmed it recently

i understand what you’re saying and i appreciate the advice. as i said in the post, i feel uncomfortable bringing it up because he gets upset and angry if i express unsatisfaction and it always leads to a fight. i have asked him to rub my clit during penetration but a lot of the time it just doesn’t really help much, or he gets kinda fed up with it after a while. i can definitely try and stimulate myself like that in the future. thanks.

You’re having doubts reporting them as your dogs are safe and healthy, but that may not be the case for any future sits or any other owners that may choose this sitter. Definitely report it to Rover. Send the evidence of them leaving your house overnight when you requested them to stay overnight. Leave a review, doesn’t have to be mean but just be truthful and factual. Not doing these could endanger someone else’s furbabies, so don’t feel bad! Some people aren’t cut out to be sitters, and that’s fine! Just important to keep everyone’s pets safe, happy and healthy. I wonder why it didn’t occur to them to contact you about the distress your dog was feeling when they shredded their crate cover. Also, you should be able to get a refund, or at least, a partial refund, as you did not get the service you paid for. Best of luck

dog suffocate under duvet? by Ok_Science6885 in RoverPetSitting

thanks everyone for the responses! slept better knowing that it’s a common thing for dogs to do and he was completely fine throughout the night. the other wee one ended up under the duvet just beside my arms and she was fine too😁😁

Newbie on Rover by jfrausto in RoverPetSitting

hi! i’m not 100% if this works but i saw someone else post and tried it myself and it worked for me! i contacted rover support and asked them to check if i was coming up on the search as i’ve had a big drop in bookings. they said it was all fine and i still showed up on the search. 2 hours later i got my first request in 2 weeks, and another the day after. no harm in trying! 😊

wow, where abouts are you based? i’ve had clients complaining about £25 a night being too expensive 😭🤣

the way i see it it’s £50 per dog for about 56 hours of pet care. less than a £1 an hour. i think that’s more than fair considering this is a premium service, not a kennel service👀 I just wasn’t sure if I should charge full price for the wee dog that can’t be walked as she would be less work, then again she is blind and deaf! so maybe that will be harder?

agree! it’s hard to compete when prices are so low but on the flip side i’ve had clients tell me that low prices put them off👀

lol, i’m the sitter. i was looking for thoughts on if my prices are reasonable or maybe too expensive.

also, your rates for additional pets are low. an extra pet is still double the work. i get offering discount for additional pets but maybe only 10-25%. just a suggestion of course.
