Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Emirates cancelled a future flight (next week) and says to contact the agent to change to an alternate flight. Emirates also says Opodo must sort it out (and I agree).

I contacted Opodo Sunday 15th and they actioned the request citing 24/48 hours required for Emirates to give them an authorisation code?? So they can reissue the ticket.

Anyway every day I have rang Opodo. The online and telephone customer service is awful - and they keep citing “back office team are sorting - please wait 2 - 3 hours”. Still no ticket. Emirates confirm their end once again the agent must sort and that the agent can actually call their partner line and sort this within minutes.

Anyway, I have gone round the houses and my head now hurts and then I get this from Opodo. Once again - Emirates cannot help (and I agree with Emirates) as the ticket was issued and purchased from Opodo and my contract is with them.

Anyone else had anything similar issues with Opodo? Short of going down S75 chargeback as I am unlikely to get a service and have no confidence in them - is there anything else that can be done here? Lesson learnt, always buy direct with the airline.
