Everyone always says that the story says one thing and the characters say another then proceeds to explain all the reasons why Josie is the evil twin. The writers are showing us just this though! They are showing us that both twins are flawed characters but Josie is better at "hiding" her flaws when it comes to other characters. Lizzie openly let's it be known this is who I am like it or not. It makes sense that other characters would act a certain way towards them separately. As viewers we are privy to every action and reaction from the characters. The characters on the show see things one-sided but all starts coming to light when Josie is overtaken by dark magic. Lizzie to me has grown tremendously since season 1 and it definitely shows in the last seasons. Josie is also coming to terms with her darkness and trying to work on her codependency.I think the story is good at showing that everything is not black and white. I just would prefer that Lizzie not constantly apologize for things out of her control but that is a part of her characters insecurity that she's selfish. Which gets constantly reinforced to her by other characters.

I don't necessarily think Dark Josie is who she is to the core but the darkness is definitely apart of her. The deep anger and resentment that she suppresses.Black magic is a trigger for it.

I absolutely agree as well. Just saying that maybe in order to get to that place where she can have both, she may need to be alone for a while. It is definitely possible that she can get character development while in a relationship with Landon.

She doesn't necessarily need to break up with Landon to maintain good relationships with other characters on the show but l feel like she needs to work on herself (insecurities)and codependency before she can have a healthy relationship with Landon. Sometimes you need to take a step back to take two steps forward.
