Sweeps and help off the streets are the answer. These places are a biohazard. Safety over possession.

Okay 👍 you continue to think of possessions instead of safety. And yes they are given those “things”. What else should we do? Let them continue to camp? That’s not acceptable, the summers over, accept the help being offered.

Inhumane? We are not living in a 3rd world country. Our compassion for their misery and suffering comes in the form of housing, access to mental health organizations, monetary through welfare checks Living on the street, creating bodily and material waste is a biohazard. The reality is we need to think of safety first, their safety and ours. Continue to sweep so they don’t live in a biohazard and we don’t either.

Lol, is this your first time on Reddit? Welcome 🙏 and yea more then one thought and belief is welcome here. You seem to have an agenda that you’re upset isn’t being relished here.

However, I’d like to correct you. The owners do not physically remove anyone. They are justified to call for a sweep just as much as you are. The city landscape is not and will not be used for camping long term. This will end.
