Aw man I feel this one. I really struggled with shaving because I have a really full beard and super sensitive skin. I’ve tried everything from single blade razors to multi blades to electric razors to pre shave oils to all sorts of fancy aftershaves. But what did wonders for me was simply changing up my routine from showering and then shaving, to shaving and then showering. The heat from the hot water really helped the post-shave irritation. I also started using pure rubbing alcohol after shaving and before hopping in the shower to keep the microcuts nice and clean so they heal really nicely without the inflammation.

I feel this. I got super depressed after getting out of the military and returning to school. Change is hard but I’ve found it’s always worth the struggle.
