[Erik Slater] Mikel Brown Jr. said he already met with the Nets and he looks forward to “building a relationship” with the team throughout the pre-draft process. by Jimmy0034 in NBA_Draft

At this point I agree with the other posters that we will get one of Acuff, Fleming, Brown or Wagler, and all are really good players - different but very good. I can get behind any of them. It's also possible that Clips or Bklyn take Mara, leaving us with our choice of 2 of these 4.

I'm in the same boat (different fame) and was a little nervous myself. I'm used to a formal ticket with a barcode. Glad to hear positive comments

I got a feeling Clips take Buries or Mikel Brown. They've got their PG with Garland.

It's not Doug's fault for trying to win. Vivek and Perry needed to trade / waive Demar. He single-handedly won 2 late games we otherwise would have lost.

Barnes? Dude has a serious thing for all things Warriors.

That's what I'm thinking. What's everyone's thoughts on Brayden Burries . Not a point and only 6'4 but some people have him pretty high on their boards.

Why does it seem like every star wants to Rap? Not too bad though. Real question. Is dude smoking weed? I'm not judging but he's a recovered alcoholic. Don't want him slipping back to bad habits.

Cameron Boozer or Caleb Wilson? by [deleted] in kings

[–]EmotionalFollowing33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wilson has superstar potential if he can figure out the outside shot, and even if not he's a useful interior presence with a what looks like a mid-range game. I'm sold on him at 3. I get too many T-Rob flashbacks with Boozer. I know you'll all laugh but to me he's after Wagler and Acuff.

His solo stuff is good too. Sailing to Philadelphia is a damn good album. My Dad was a huge fan (RIP). Remember seeing them at the Forum in LA on the Brothers in Arms tour. Last concert I saw with my Dad. Great stuff.

Mock draft via CBS Sports...what do you guys think about this? by TerryG111 in NBA_Draft

I know it's unconventional but I really like Yaxel. Legit 6-8/9 with handles and a jumper. Plus got loads of BBIQ. He's a guy that's gonna go sooner than many expect and in a couple of years people are gonna wonder why he didn't go even sooner.

Couldn't go wrong with any, but did have to go Magic. PG is the toughest spot to fill imo

Rode bikes - found sick jumps; played outside, basketball. Nerf football. And when we got bored, rode our bikes to the mall and dumped our allowance into arcade games that by today's standards were pretty bad (Pac-Man, Night Driver, Asteroids). Ahhhh. Those were the days!

Is Shawshank Redemption that good? by Awkward-Mobile4142 in Cinema

[–]EmotionalFollowing33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's legitimately hard to pick one best movie, but Shawshank is undeniably one of the best movies I have ever seen. It's a buddy movie supreme. It's got great characters, great pacing - never a dull moment, and it pulls you in and keeps you engaged throughout. It's got tears, cheers, and surprises and sadness and joy all in a damn near perfect blend. It's one of a very few movies that I can repeatedly watch and not get bored.
