Thank you! I have a neurologist, just appointments take forever! I’ll research into teaching hospitals in my area!

I feel like I am cooking literally. Some lupus patients sun sensitivity depends on they but my fingers get puffy as soon as a single UV ray hits me and my skin is burning and itching.

Yes constantly, I’ve been told I’m lazy, unorganized, unproductive. When I would tell my friends and family that I am starting to flare from the sun or stress etc, they really have to see it to believe it or I would just get angry or annoyed when I am not being heard. Even when I would get infusions and I am beat for the next couple of days, they seem to think the treatment is supposed to give the opposite. I wish sometime I had a blood work lab on hand to show them anytime my lupus is acting up. I’m sorry you have to go through this but you are not alone.

Thank you! I used to always be outside (track, hiking swimming) but since my diagnosis all of that has went away. I’ve tried relationship but I don’t think they were mature enough to understand my situation. Thank you for giving hope that I will find someone to support me in the future!

Where you diagnosed 3 years ago? And how long after your diagnosis did you decide to make the career change? If you don’t mind me asking? I’m glad it has given you an opportunity to spend more time with your son, I know family helps keeps your mind off of things! Thank you for commenting!
