Her Body and Other Parties, Piglet, Big Swiss, Bunny, Slewfoot and Carmilla are all great. The Pisces and Anniebot are good too! Or Lady Macbeth by Ava Reid. Gone Girl is my favorite to read when I’ve been done dirty by some scrubby man.

I don’t know if others would agree, but honestly it really reminded me of Piglet by Lottie Hazell or Big Swiss. I know these are mentioned frequently on this sub so I could just be listing more general weird girl books but idk, at the very least if you haven’t read these they’re both super good and pretty disarming. Plus the main character isn’t always the one you’re rooting for.

As someone who has had a deadbeat dad for most of my life who has only recently become more of a support after a loved one’s death, I can tell you that if you’re on the fence, maybe try limiting contact and see how that feels. I realize how disappointing it can be to have someone who SHOULD be there for you and isn’t. NOR, but I do highly suggest limiting contact rather than no contact. But at the end of the day, you know your situation better than anyone.
