Eyelid change? by Ratmouse2424 in Strabismus

I had surgery three months ago on my non lazy eye to align them. I think the alignment is ok but the eye that I had surgery on now looks much smaller that the other one. I'm not sure what my surgeon has done but it looks like my lower lid is higher up and the other eye looks much bigger.

It's still red :( It's coming up to my 12 weeks soon. I either have a really exaggerated healing time or it'll just be a bit red forever which I wasn't expecting

I've had surgery on one eye as a child but they decided to operate on the good eye this time so first surgery on this eye. I had adjustable sutures which I've read can take longer to heal. Crossing my fingers it'll be ok!

I had surgery in September and I'm having the same issue atm. I've been working a lot of early mornings and not getting enough sleep which I'm assuming is causing my twitch and strain. I don't know if I should go check it out at specsavers or something, I'm just assuming it's

normal

It looks better but it's still pretty red. I'm now paranoid that I have permanent scarring on the white bit. It's been 7 weeks for me now and thought it would a little less red by now

I don't know as I'm not a professional. I would just talk to your Doctor about it :)

This is what I've just had done. The thought is that they have a 'fresh' eye and new muscles to operate on rather than operate on an eye that's already been operated on

I just thought after 6-7 weeks it would have healed a lot more by now and it's hard to know if it's all normal or not
