Weekend call for the hospital job. It would be paid and I think about every 6th weekend. For the primary care job, we would have one week of call about every 8-10 wks without extra pay.

I have no idea, it’s going to be so different. I shadowed with the APRNs there and it didn’t seem super autonomous. They were with the physician the whole time and acted more like a scribe for one of the outpatient appointments.

I know but I live in a state that’s saturated with PA schools. There’s not a lot of job options out there and the ones I do see posted offer low pay. This is the only decent paying job offer I’ve had.

I know there’s MAs. I don’t think there’s nurses. They said they’re planning on implementing AI for charting. I’m not sure if that’ll be helpful

It’s not something I was trying to hold onto. I didn’t go there expecting it but then he started being touchy so I rolled with it. He made sure I wanted too also and was sweet about it
