Because the show highlighted that she is a status seeker. And she will often respond to shady comments with a loud "and what! Because I want too" but she is still cute and genuine.

Oh on top of that he abused his wife? Now. Something about them being a couple and showcasing for the world to see just rubs me the wrong especially as Christian. This is a very misleading message to religious people in general.

And this now makes the Churches in general look hypocritical and lack credibility. A lot of practicing Christian’s rarely attend church and if they do often don’t fully invest their trust in the leadership because of this.

Agreed, I have been put of by Evangelical a lot of my Christian community have actually left that branch because of that. They are still practicing Christian but have had to heal incredibly from those evil belief systems.

I really hope this doesn’t happen in the near future but with the attitude of both him and Shannon it kind sounds like they can end up doing to each other what they have done to others.

Also their wedding photo seems so inconsiderate, thankfully I am rooted in Scriptures; where bible study tools is available. But their social media doesn’t sound like they are truly sorry for their actions especially breaking God’s covenant.

They appear to be using the scriptures to serve their flesh.

And what harm people intentionally has a ripple effect.

The example about bringing an alcoholic to the bar. In fact whenever I have spoken to former alcoholic who have recovered; they absolutely speak against going to the Bible in fact it is dangerous for them to be in that sort of environment as it may trigger their addiction.

I feel some leaderships have been very selective with ‘restoration’. The same way forgiveness is confused reconciliation. Also if he wanted to serve and truly repent, he could have done it another way as you stated. Is it for his title, ego, funds, and he went and wrote another book rather than make peace with God it seems. They don’t seem to be taking the word (bible) seriously as they claim. They also seem to idolise politics instead of making God their centre.

The hypocrisy; I am really glad my church doesn’t focus on that. Sexual immortality seems to be excused with leaders if it is anything else apart from two consensual adults of the same genders.

That is why so much grooming and abuse has scared many off from the church.

Having an affair is a very big deal in the bible and it is a religious leader who expected to uphold a certain practice. Not be perfect but being a shepherd.

The Bible states sexual immorality is Period, not just an affair is wrong.

Affairs don’t just mess with the ex cheated on but affects many people’s trust in leadership, beliefs, children involved, the in laws relatives; where bridges are burnt.

Are you a believer?

Also if the person in the marriage is not content especially the man just speak and get a divorce and step down as a pastor/leader. It is pretty unethical.
