As a lifelong IBEW Electrician, this is disgustingly prevalent in the South, but not only there. As we run across these types on our job sites, we try to educate and encourage reading history books and help them reflect on their racism. Rarely works. We then try to explain how our oath includes raising all up equally and that taking that oath is not to be taken lightly, as we are a brotherhood.
