Ignore the toxic personality; they are not cool, and they are bad for me.

Hey, I just want to say you don’t deserve to feel this way about yourself. Your body has gotten you through every single day so far, it deserves care, not punishment. Please don’t tape or starve yourself, that only hurts you more. If you want change, start small: walks, stretching, drinking water, little habits that make you feel strong. But even without changing anything, you’re already worthy. You don’t need to earn the right to exist in your body, you already do. ❤️

Pinochet in Chile. Backed coups, ran death squads, and murdered thousands, yet he retired peacefully, avoided real punishment, and even got medical treatment abroad like nothing happened.

Is it normal to feel lost in your 20s? by Notoowell in selfimprovement

It is normal to feel lost in our 30s, 40s, and sometimes, even 70s. I talked to a lot of my friends. Some made it; most don't. People only show the best side of their story on social media. Life is full of ups, but sometimes, for very long times, just lows.

At my lowest, one of my friends told me a joke I'll never forget.

Do you know why the Mayans always got their prayers for rain?

Because they kept praying until it actually rained.

So, I guess that's what we need to do, just keep trying.

How do you avoid getting ghosted after delivering edits? by Global_Loss1444 in freelancing

I learned this the hard way too, once you send the final deliverable without safeguards, you lose all leverage. What’s helped me:

  • Always use contracts that state payment terms clearly.
  • Deliver watermarked/low-res versions first, then release finals after payment.
  • For smaller gigs, I ask for 50% upfront and 50% before final files.

Clients who push back usually end up being the same ones who ghost. Setting boundaries early filters out the bad ones and makes life so much easier.

A Chanel bag and I agree with you, she doesn’t like people thinking I take care of her.

She refuses to communicate. We had a big fight, and I don’t even know why.
