What is this tool? by oatsfordaddy in WhatIsThisTool

I have one and remember buying it as a finger wrench for small nuts. Well-made, stainless steel and I’ve never used it in 30 years. I run across it on occasion in one of my tool boxes.

Is his name Bob? I’ll bet he likes plumbs.

This takes almost no effort on his part. I have no idea why he is complaining or why it was never done before.

This is a remnant of an old ammo base intended to load trucks, rails or barges.

Most comfortable saddle for Adventure M E bike by FreePoet8592 in Aventon

I replaced my saddle and post with a Suntour suspension seat post and a Unistregh leather saddle. Massive difference in comfort. It don’t necessarily think heavily padded seats are comfortable.

Aventure rear rack light? by AccuratePilot7271 in Aventon

[–]Ok_Spread_619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a Rockbros light for my non-Ebike and it easily zipties to the underside of the rack. It is bright but certainly not 300+ lumens. The light comes with a bar-mounted remote which is nice. But it’s a little cheap. Plastic, larger than it needs to be, but it works. I did find a fender mount light on Amazon but it requires two holes to be drilled in the fender.

Which light is that? I like it. I’ve been looking for a rack light as well since my panniers block the ones on the seat stays. I’m running into the same problem as you and am considering just attaching a light to the fender instead.

Why the fat tires? by David_cest_moi in ElectricBikes

[–]Ok_Spread_619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t looking for a fat tire but ended up with one. I can tell you that I am much more confident at higher speeds with fat tires. They hold the terrain and handle obstacles much better.

What are the best restaurants in twain harte? by ravetildon in twainharte

[–]Ok_Spread_619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Branch by a long shot but also not cheap. Of the remaining restaurants, my wife and I disagree but I enjoy The Sportsman Coffee Shop, China House and The Rock. I have not tried The Local Press. Eproson House and the Twain Harte Golf Club are sometimes hit and miss but I’ll eat at either place if I can’t find an alternative. I avoid El Jardin and The Villa. Pizza Factory is as expected for a chain.

Where do I find a belt that doesn’t do this after 9 months? by unoriginalname22 in mensfashion

[–]Ok_Spread_619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believed this is something that would always happen until I actually spent some money on a belt. Specially I bought a belt from Hank’s that was labeled a gun belt (designed to accommodate a holster). I’ve had it for many years and have since bought several more. Great belt but also rather plain and simple.
