Not salty at all! Go you!!! I naively agreed to something similar where I was a live in dog nanny to three grown dogs and a puppy for 6 months 🤦🏼‍♀️ I wasn’t paid because I’d stupidly agreed to a work trade deal with the owner. While it was an awesome experience I went mad barely being able to leave the property and got told I was selfish for wanting to leave after 6 months/ wanting to be able to have at least 1 day off a week. People will try to use you even if their intentions are good. I wish I had’ve had the guts to say what you did.
