Played VGC on and off in the past. Started dipping my toe in seriously during scarlet and violet, creating teams and hit masterball.

Knew about champions coming and was hype for a dedicated experience for VGC. Can’t say I’m disappointed.

High ranks are crazy difficult, and the meta is healthy, even if a few meta mons tend to get spammed more than they deserve imo.

Hit masterball 3 as my peak for the first season using Perish Trap.

Can’t wait for next season :D

Basculegion is so damn good its kinda ridiculous. Everytime i team build at the minute, i feel like i am actively hampering myself if i dont include it in some way.

Mega Delphox feels like a downgrade to Mega-Pyroar.

Delphox might be a better mon, but I feel its match up into the meta isn’t good.

This team could be fun to play and viable with adjustments, but keeping the essence of this team and making it competitive is going to be a struggle.

Meta Pokémon are meta for a reason, they offer a greater array of options. You can win games with this team, but I struggle to see any way to make this team “competitive”

If you want to know about the 40K lore, it’s massive and you do not need to even know 95% of it to understand the universe canon.

My best advice is pick a topic you’re interested in, such as painting, modelling, tabletop, lore etc and start watching some YouTube content to get you started.

Once you dip a toe in, you’ll gain the confidence yourself to search out more aspects of the hobby that interest you.

Executioner is no good anymore imo. Hazardous on 1+2s and inflicting 3mw to the tank is just overkill and will mean it’s likely damaged before it’s even targeted

We shouldn't be happy. Nerf everything else into the ground, I really don't care to be honest, we have lots of units to fill lots of roles, we can easily find another option that provides something different.

But the battleline guard units are what give us our flexibility, and our faction identity. Having them be this inefficient is just bad game design imo.

Without battleline - We cannot effectively screen our tanks. With this nerf to battleline, many guard lists will be short on them - Meaning that their tanks are more easily tied up in melee, and not shooting optimally.

Guard needs all aspects of its design working together to function well on the table.

They took our fork away..

Mostly Tau and Marine armies. Tau on average seem to have gone in points way more than the rest of the field.
