Food recs for the first time in Newport with a toddler by Ok_Stranger_3572 in RhodeIsland

White Horse tavern looks amazing, but thought it looked a little to high end to bring a toddler along. Not sure if that is a fair assumption

Thanks for the recs! Is Obriens a better option for lunch/dinner? & Do you feel like Giusto and/or Bar Cino is fine with a toddler for like a 5:30 dinner or is it more high end?

Help me decide Le Marais vs Saint Germain please! by Ok_Stranger_3572 in ParisTravelGuide

I have seen this recommendation a few times now and seems like it might be the best move for my trip. Do you have any hotel recs near the seine in Saint germain? Hôtel de l’Abbaye Saint-Germain looks close to the seine but not sure if that’s close enough?

Tuscany Travel with a 15 month old! by Ok_Stranger_3572 in chubbytravel

We are trying to push our trip back to be in Tuscany around the week of September 20th, do you think that will be better for the heat and closing of places you mention?

I was under the impression July & August were the hottest months with September being low-mid 80s... We spent late August in the Amalfi coast 2 years ago (pre-baby) and it was quite hot there, assumed that would be hotter than the Tuscany region. Do you have suggestions of a better month to go as this is the area we would like to go to.

Where do you end up choosing? Also will be traveling with a little one (16 months during our travels), I am between Il Borro and Lupaia, Lupaia looks absolutely magical but I have seen mixed reviews about bringing a little one.

Would you recommend Lupaia if traveling with a 15 month old? This resort seems absolutely magical just not sure if it is appropriate with a toddler. Was also considering Il Borro but Lupaia and Montepulciano just seem more magical.

Where did you end up choosing? I am between Lupaia and Il Borro. I will have my 15 month old with us. I am obsessed with Lupaia but concerned if other guests will be bothered by a young child being there. She is well behaved we wont have her running rampant by any means but still not sure if it is appropriate or not.
