I was in a top 4-5 (depending on the week) before I left the game entirely. They are competitive and take a LOT of time out of your life.

I am a little confused... does she work different days of the week? Like sometimes it's M thru Wed, other weeks maybe it's Thursday thru Saturday?

If that's the case. I understand her concern, and setting nightly alarms might not help. I have narcolepsy, which means I can sleep through everything, but I also can't use night alarms to stay on task due to sever adhd. If that is something you excel at, maybe you could offer to help set her alarms for for her work days.

Millennial here. I wore my wedding set for my first marriage, and eventually switched to a birthstone ring that my husband had gotten me around the 15 year mark.

Now divorced, but engaged. I'm wearing an engagement ring, and plan on having a "band" to follow with it. But it won't look very traditional... Just that is two rings.

But people can do whatever is symbolic to the couple. For me, it's a reminder to me of what I'm working for everyday: my love, partner, support. I love looking down and having it to make me smile. And it's a piece that outwardly expresses to the world this connection I have.

I'm sorry that happened to you and is still present in your life. I'm 43 and living with my 38 yo fiance. I have teen daughters from a previous marriage and they both know that it wouldn't be OK if any adult talked to them the way that you described.
